Sometimes we have animals in our care that for one reason or another would be better situated in a home environment rather than in a rescue kennel, pen or hutch.
If you take one of our rescues in to your home we will continue to give you support and oversee and pay for any on going veterinary costs.
We are desperately seeking a foster home for one of our dogs, Bonnie. She has been with us now for almost 2 years. She has had the odd bit of interest, but nothing ever really works out for her. She is such a sweet girl, but she is really not coping well with kennel life, and being in a stressful kennel environment is really affecting her physical and mental health.
We would really love someone to be able to offer her a home to stay in until she could find a forever home of her own. It would need to be someone confident with dogs and who can offer her time and patience, as she really needs her own confidence building back up and will need to learn once again how to be in a home.
We know it is a big ask, but we are looking for an adult only home with no other pets, as she will need further socialising because she has been on her own for so long. Someone would also need to be home with her for most of the day as she does suffer with separation issues.
She is around 8 years old now and is a Lurcher x staffy. She loves her toys but she sometimes does not like to share. She loves cuddles on the sofa and is a real lap dog that just longs for the comforts of a home. She can be wary of new people sometimes due to being with us for so long. We are hoping if we can get her in to a home, it will help bring the lovely old Bonnie back as she will much more relaxed and happy.
