Alfie the pony has had a really big day on Tuesday it was the first time in his life that he has had someone on his back. This is the accumulation of lots of hard work from his carer Val, our volunteers Ruth and Joanne to help him reach this level over many weeks of working with him.
Our new charity shop is now OPEN it is still on the Pershore Rd in Cotteridge just a few doors up from our old one.
Here is a message from our hardworking shop manager Bev
Thank you to everybody who have dropped off donations to our charity shop and to Wythall Animal Sanctuary,we are so very grateful. We have relocated to our new shop which is a very short walk up towards the island opposite Dominos, and next door to Lloyds chemist,1887 Pershore Road. Our new sign is now up. We would love you to just pop in and see our new premises and bargains, and obviously for a natter,tea/coffee and a few biscuits.
Bev and all our hardworking Volunteers
Last week we had a group of volunteers from Mondelez International who kindly came to help us, not only did they help us with a massive tidy up of our garden area but they also assembled our outdoor rabbit runs. As you can see, our rescue rabbit Cinnabun definitely approved. She loved being outside in the fresh air and on the grass.
The lovely Sharon and Gail at Lakeside Dog Day Care in Redditch kindly offered us a place on one of her scent workshops for one of our dogs.
As Pedro has been with us for over a year and a half, we decided he most of all deserved a day out!
He thoroughly enjoyed it, and after all that brain and nose work he was certainly worn out when he returned to the Sanctuary
