Christmas Re-homing Policy

Just a reminder that we DO NOT re-home our rescued animals over the Christmas and New Year period.  We will stop placing animals in their new homes from the 10th of December until the 2nd of January.

Christmas and New Year period. Settling into a new home, although wonderful, is also a stressful time for a rescued animal and with the festive season comes all sorts of added hazards and distractions such as decorations, rich/toxic foods and visitors coming and going and many veterinary surgeries being closed.
We make this a rule for the benefit of our rescued animals and will not make exceptions.
We stop taking reservations on the weekend of our Christmas Open day 9th - 10th of December. and we will not start re-homing again until the 2nd of January.
So PLEASE if you are interested in adopting one of our rescues let us know as soon as possible. Home visits will continue over the festive period but our animals will remain here with us until the new year.
To put your mind at rest as far as caring for the animals goes over the Christmas and New Year period it is business as usual here at Wythall our staff and volunteers will be here to care for the animals as normal..... You can not tell them that today is a holiday. In fact we will be doing all we can to ensure that they have an enjoyable Christmas time as well.
